All MP3s on this site are taken from the original Music Box cassette tapes from the mid 90s, so occasionally there may be mild warping or changes in volume, though never anything substantial.
I only rip the A side of the tapes, that is the spoken word stories and the short educational section that follows them. If you’d like to request an MP3 of the B side of any tape (25-30 minutes of the piece of music used in that episode), or would like a higher quality/bigger scan of any pages, let me know. I would also greatly appreciate being told if any of the links don’t work, or the wrong thing has been uploaded.
I can be contacted via the ‘Ask me anything’ link, or by the ‘Submit’ link or email at firstname.lastname@example.org for longer messages.
If you have anything related to Music Box that you’d like me to post, you can do so via the ‘Submit’ link.
PDF files of the magazine scans can be found here (courtesy of a wonderful contributor named Shyam). Alternatively, folders containing separate image files are included in each issue’s page on the right.
Selected magazines, tapes and CDs can be purchased from: http://www.partworks.co.uk/index1.html (click on “Art, Music, Literature” to find the Music Box page).
